How often do you recommend mowing my lawn to keep it healthy?
Here at AP landscaping we recommend a weekly cut to provide the best quality we can when it comes to your lawn care needs. Also we provide a biweekly choice cut which is every other week but is more costly.
Can you provide winter pruning services for all types of plants and trees?
Yes but not all, Any perennials or roses with diseased foliage. Also perennials that have gone completely dormant.
Any plants with broken branches.
Things I don't do.
- Anything evergreen or semi-evergreen, whether it’s a perennial, tree or shrub
- Plants with hollow stems like delphiniums to prevent moisture from traveling down the stems into the crown of the plant.
- Fruit trees
- Any perennials that look pretty with a fresh dusting of snow.
What kind of mulch do you use for mulch installation, and are there different options available?
We use whatever the customer wants
- River rock stones

How often should hedges be trimmed to maintain their shape and health?
Once a month to maintain shape.
Younger smaller plants 1 time a year depending on the growth rate of the plant.
Ideally, late winter and early spring are the best times to cut back an overgrown hedge. Summer is best for trims that maintain their shape and height.
Can you work with existing landscaping designs to enhance or update them?
Yes we can, we can bring back your love for your outdoor living with a touch of AP landscaping.
How do you determine pricing for your services, such as residential mowing or patio work?
By lawn size. We give 3 images of a respected size of the three lawn sizes, small, medium and big. Estimated price would be at the bottom of the image. Click on the image that is closest to your lawn and then give your information. -- Zip code

Patios would be priced by the options the customer wants. More curves/cuts means higher price. At the end of the project we will give a breakdown of what cost what on a material list so you know where your money is going. Almost like a receipt.
Do you offer eco-friendly landscaping solutions?
Yes we do, organic fertilizer for lawn and plants.
- Organic weed killer
- We use natural rocks in customer landscaping if the customer wants.
- Option is use native plants but we would discuss that during the development of the landscape.
How far in advance do I need to book your services, especially for larger projects like landscaping or patio work?
No need, we accept your request. And book you in the schedule and you would probably be given an estimated range of your date of project.
Do you provide maintenance services after the initial landscaping or patio project is completed?
Yes we do, we prefer the customer to choose us for maintenance services after a big project is done because we take pride in our work and designs. We want to make sure the quality upholds throughout the season by sticking with us.
How long does a typical mulch installation project take?
Usually One day, or less. Rarely would it go to the second day. Depending on the size of the project.
What is your process for handling unexpected issues or changes during a project?
We make sure that we communicate to the customer about the unexpected issue. Then give solutions and other alternatives to the problem that best meets their needs.
